Julián logotype and typeface family
Julián is a feature film based on the award-winning and critically acclaimed 2018 book, Julián is a Mermaid by author and illustrator Jessica Love, published by Candlewick Press. It was adapted for screen by Juliány Taveras and is directed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker, Louise Bagnall, and produced by Cartoon Saloon (Ireland), Sun Creature (Denmark) Folivari (France), Aircraft Pictures (Canada) and Wychwood Media (UK). It is due to be released in 2026. For this project, I designed a title logotype and typeface family to be used in the title sequence and credits of the movie, as well as on collateral and related branding.
