wolfwalkers
In 2019, I worked on the development of a logotype and typeface for the title sequence, credits and promotional and related collateral for the animated feature film, Wolfwalkers. Directed by Ross Stewart and Tomm Moore, Wolfwalkers is set in 1450s Ireland, and deals with themes of colonialism and maternal love. It was received to critical acclaim including being nominated for a Golden Globe, Academy award, and has won multiple accolades since its release including a New York Film Critics Circle Award, a Los Angeles Film Critics Association Award for Best Animation and an Audience Award at the AFI Fest for best Narrative Feature. It was included in the Top Ten Independent Films of 2021 by the National Board of Review, USA and won an Annie award for Best Animated Independent Feature. It also received the nominations for Best Animated Feature Film at the Academy Awards, Golden Globe Awards and BAFTA Awards, for a total of 35 wins and 68 nominations in international contexts as well as receiving a 99% on the Tomatometer on the popular film review site Rotten Tomatoes. It is distributed by Apple TV and Fanfare and available for streaming globally.
